Anna Sliwinska - painter, artist specializing in artistic textiles and book design. She graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Krakow: in 1994 she received her diploma from the Faculty of Painting in the studio of Prof. Jerzy Nowosielski and the Faculty of Artistic Textile in the studio of Prof. Lilla Kulka and Prof. Ryszard Kwiecień, and additionally in the Studio of Book Design and Typography of Prof. Roman Banaszewski. In 2012, she received a doctorate in fine arts. She is the recipient of a scholarship from the Minister of Culture and National Heritage for 2000 and 2003, and a scholarship from the City of Tarnów for 2015 and 2018.
