Anna Szprynger was born in 1982 in Warsaw, Poland. She studied painting and printmaking at the College of Fine Arts in Kazimierz Dolny and at Maria Curie- Sklodowska University in Lublin. She received her diploma with distinction under the guidance of Professors Tomasz Zawadzki and Grzegorz Dobieslaw Mazurek. In 2014, she defended her doctoral thesis at the Academy of Fine Arts under the direction of Professor Dorota Grynczel.
Her paintings have been exhibited in many individual exhibitions (including Lindner Gallery in Vienna, National Museum in Gdansk, EL Gallery in Elblag, State Art Gallery in Sopot) and group exhibitions. In 2013 she was awarded the Prix Martin at Paris' Salom Realities Nouvelles, and in 2015 she received the Arteon award for 2014.
