Anna Tomicka was born in 1985. At the age of 9, she moved with her family to Italy, where she began to paint (initially manga, and over time realism with oil paints). She attended the Academy of Fine Arts in Venice, and after moving to Tuscany she graduated from the Florence Academy of Fine Arts. She took part in a course at the NEMO NT Academy of Digital Arts, where she was named best student of the year. The artist is inspired by Renaissance and Baroque painting. She is fascinated by the art of Zdzislaw Beksinski.
