Barbara Rej (born 1988) - graduate of the Faculty of Painting at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw. In 2016. She received a master's degree for her thesis entitled. "From my breast it broke out" under the direction of Prof. Jaroslaw Modzelewski. Winner of the 2016 ENTRY Initiative Award, which culminated in a solo exhibition entitled. "Heart" at the Promotional Gallery in Warsaw in 2018. She participated in the exhibition "Communication with All That Is" at the Stefan Gierowski Foundation in Warsaw in 2018. In her works, the artist transforms well-known motifs from iconography or literature using bold, colorful and humorous aesthetics.
