Bartek Buczek is a graduate of the Academy of Fine Arts in Katowice. He obtained his diploma in the atelier of Andrzej Tobis. He practices painting and creates installations. Privately, he is a fan of cycling, hip-hop and literature. At the same time he is engaged in̨ editing exhibitions for cultural institutions, thanks to which he views the world of art from multiple perspectives: artist, curator, editor and viewer. The artist creates monochromatic compositions freely using conceptual ideas. In his artistic activities he refers both to his own interests (the exhibition "Bartek Buczek. Cyclist" - Rondo Sztuki 2019), pop culture (the exhibition "Black Character" - Project Room, CCA Ujazdowski Castle, 2013) or art history, which he often deals with in his professional work.
