B. 1996, Opole
Attended the General School of Fine Arts in Opole, from which he graduated in 2015. Took up studies at the Faculty of Art at the University of Opole, where he defended his master's degree in 2020 under Prof. Magda Hlawacz. He is involved in many fields of art, but is particularly fond of sculpture, drawing and painting. His works are expressive and expressive. He experiments with textures and temperature and color contrasts.
He has participated in many group exhibitions: Things of Importance 3 at the Opole Philharmonic Hall (2017); Illustragan 2 at MBP in Opole (2017); Graduate Exhibition of the UO Faculty of Art (2018); Multimedia Exhibition "Muzak" at the Museum of Polish Song in Opole (2019); Opole Festival of Photography (2019); Graduate Exhibition of the UO Faculty of Art at Aneks Gallery (2020); Iron on the West at Ray Drew Gallery in Las Vegas (2021). Solo exhibitions: Entomo Installation at MBP's Small Gallery in Opole (2018); I'm Afraid I'll Make a Photobooth at W Gallery (online, 2020). He participated in the First Edition of the International Student Review of Short Animated Forms "12 Klatek", which he also co-organized, as well as the Nokta Festival, during which he presented his animations. He participated in the open-air sculpture festival in Moszna (2018) and the High Temperatures Festival in Wroclaw (2019).
Usually large-format works combine different media and techniques, thus allowing autonomy of the details that make up the whole. The main subjects taken up by Bartłomiej Karwat are female nudes and fauna - especially insects.
