Painter, sculptor and printmaker. In 1965 he graduated with honors from the Faculty of Painting and Graphics at the Warsaw Academy of Fine Arts. His works have been exhibited in over 80 solo and group exhibitions at home and abroad, including in: United States (New York, Washington, Atlanta, Chicago, Philadelphia), Germany, Sweden, Finland, France and Australia. He has received many awards for his work in the field of posters and painting, including several in competitions organized by the Polish Olympic Committee. He gained popularity in the world with his works on hippie themes. He was honored with the title of official artist of the 124th Kentacky Derby in the United States as the second artist in the race's more than 100-year history. In 2012, he carried out a unique project in London called "Painted Chronicle of the Olympics" under the honorary patronage of the Minister of Culture and National Heritage. For almost twenty years the artist lived in the United States without losing contact with Poland. He has achieved many successes there. He cooperates with the National Dance Museum in Saratoga Springs. Since 2002, he has been working with the Grand Theater National Opera in Warsaw, which has resulted in major exhibitions. Horses and theater are the artist's favorite subjects maintained in a style of poetic expression. The common feature seems to be movement the artist himself claims that "all paintings are vibration."
"In my life, random events opened new spaces of imagination, were the main imperative of creative adventures, stimulated my creative curiosity, the need to take risks in making decisions, often against rational considerations. I love the state of creative euphoria, involvement in the work completely, however, once I master something, it ceases to interest me and I throw myself into another artistic space."
