Artwork description:
Edward Dwurnik's art of the 2000s is primarily associated with works that are city views, painterly satirical commentaries on contemporary realities, and iconic depictions of tulips and contraptions. The featured painting, on the other hand, is purely landscape in nature. The composition, both by its subject and size (120 x 280 cm), is an interesting example of this artist's work.
The work was painted with long, vigorous brushstrokes. The intense color range, in which orangish, yellow and blue dominate, has been somewhat balanced by white and dark green. The author's title of the work, as well as the pulsating bright colors and dynamically framed, enriched with impasto trees, influence the positive, good-energy-inducing reception of the work.
From the formal point of view, the painting fits into the recognizable style of the artist's art, thus showing the artistic finesse of the painting means developed by Edward Dwurnik on a monumental scale.
