Graduated from the Faculty of Technique and Technology of easel painting at the Academy of Fine Arts (St. Petersburg). He practiced at the Hermitage. In 2009 he received a doctorate from the Faculty of Painting at the Academy of Fine Arts in Cracow. He has been associated with the Faculty of Art at the University of Opole since 2006.
