Biography
From 1972 to 1977 she studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw, where she graduated with honors. In 2000 she taught painting at the Pedagogical University of Freiburg. In 2005 she received a scholarship from the iaab Cite des Arts in Paris, where she ran her atelier in 2006. From 2007 to 2011 she was a member of the art council at the Kunstverein in Freiburg. In 2008 she led the "Time out" project in Lagos, Nigeria. In 2010, she received a scholarship at the Kavalierhaus in Langenargen. In the same year she carried out the project "Publik viewing" in Lagos, Nigeria, and was a member of the Kunstlerbund Baden-Wurttemberg. In 2015, she authored the project "Transmission" in Lagos, Nigeria. She has participated in numerous international solo and group exhibitions. Her works are in many foreign public and private collections, including: Ministry of Culture in Stuttgart, Ministry of Culture in Rhineland-Palatinate, Collection Credit Suisse, Tate Library in London and Library Centre Pompidou.
