Biography
Studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Cracow from 1919 to 1925 under the direction of Teodor Axentowicz, Stanisław Kamocki and Ignacy Pieńkowski. He then lived and worked in Paris, where his first solo exhibition was held at Leopold Zborowski's gallery in 1931. He was a member of the Association of Artists "Zwornik", which brings together artists of color. He painted landscapes, genre scenes, portraits and still lifes. His works were often inspired by native folklore. After the war, he was involved in teaching at the Higher School of Fine Arts in Wroclaw and the Academy of Fine Arts in Krakow.
