Born in Szopienice, miner, member of the Janowska Group. He was influenced by occult knowledge, was fascinated by the exoticism of the cultures of the ancient East, and was close to the circle of Silesian culture. The heroine of many of the artist's paintings is a female figure, shown against a background of scenery full of symbols and exoticism.
