Biography
Painter, draughtsman, graphic artist. He graduated from the Warsaw Academy of Fine Arts, receiving his diploma in 1974. He is also a lecturer at the Faculty of Architecture at the Warsaw University of Technology. His painting is metaphorical by design. He paints people with deformed proportions, against a background of unreal landscape. The characteristic figures in his paintings are lyrical, lost, shy people full of sadness and a kind of comedy. His work is presented in numerous museums, including the National Museum in Krakow, Szczecin, the District Museum in Zamosc and abroad: Peace Museum in Tokyo, Municipal Museum in Ghent.
