Biography
Studied initially at the Warsaw Academy of Fine Arts under Milosz Kotarbinski, and later at the Academy of Fine Arts in Cracow. She was one of the founders of the Paris Committee. She lived in Paris until 1931, when the first Capist exhibition took place at Galerie Zak in Paris. She painted mainly landscapes, still lifes and nudes initially influenced by Impressionism. She was the first woman in the history of the Academy of Fine Arts in Cracow to receive a professorial appointment. She taught at the academy until 1967.
