Painter and educator associated with the Colorism trend, wife of Jan Cybis. In 1931-1935 she studied at the Warsaw Academy of Fine Arts in the atelier of Karol Tiche, received her diploma in 1946. The artist traveled extensively, including to France, Germany, Italy, Morocco, Algiers, Greece, Spain. She practiced easel painting, using oil, watercolor and gouache techniques. She painted landscapes, still lifes, genre scenes. As a teacher, she worked at the Municipal School of Arts and Crafts in Lodz from 1936 to 1938, and from 1946 she joined the Warsaw Academy of Fine Arts. The artist had numerous solo exhibitions, including in 1937 and 1948 in Lodz, in 1958 in Warsaw and Bydgoszcz, in 1959 in Berlin, Sofia, Bucharest and Budapest, in 1963 in Vienna.
