Graduated from the Faculty of Graphic Arts, Academy of Fine Arts in Cracow (branch in Katowice). In 2001, under the supervision of Professor Marian Oslislo, he defended his diploma thesis entitled Windows of the City. A series of posters describing episodes in the lives of young people in a large-panel housing estate was presented in 2002 at the "Novart" exhibition of Polish young art in Cracow. He received his doctorate in art in 2008. The promoter of the work Animals are Permanent. Illusions, games, simulations in Animal Planet was Professor Antoni Cygan. Since 2004, he has been an employee of his alma mater, where he leads the Painting Studio.
My works to date, regardless of their formal and thematic diversity, originate from a single source. In most of them I look at the environment in which I currently function (work, home, city), which I treat as a collection of specific information and inspiration. It has so far outlined more intimate themes containing the dilemmas of the artist-teacher and somewhat further ones related to the changes in the city. In the most general terms, I am interested in unfamiliar things and phenomena, containing in their visuality a number of mysteries, which through painting I try to break down into smaller parts and read.
