Born in 1961, he received a diploma in painting in the studio of Professor Jerzy Kalucki at the Academy of Fine Arts in Poznan in 1995. He defended his doctorate (2004) and received his habilitation (2014) at the Faculty of Painting and Sculpture of the Academy of Fine Arts in Wroclaw. He is an associate professor at the Faculty of Arts at the University of Zielona Gora. In 2004, he received a scholarship from the Ministry of Culture and Art. Author of many solo exhibitions, including: "Heinrich Schultz Residenz", Dresden, Germany (2014); "Window, Interior, Wall", Staniszow Art Center (2013); "Personal Places - habilitation presentation"; Pokusa Gallery, Wiesbaden, Germany (2011); "Arsenal" City Gallery, Poznan (2007); Baltic Gallery of Contemporary Art, Slupsk (2006); Ego Gallery, Poznan (2007); Kierat 1 Gallery, Szczecin (2005). Participant in numerous group exhibitions, including: "Art Now," National Museum in Krakow (2016); Festival of Polish Contemporary Painting, Szczecin (2016, 2010, 2008, 2004, 2002); IV International Art Review "Alternatives 33," Gallery 33, Ostrów Wielkopolski (2015); XXXV National Painting Competition, BWA Bielsko-Biała Gallery (2001).
