Born in Lubawa. From 1959 to 1965 he studied at the State Higher School of Fine Arts (today the Academy of Fine Arts) in Gdansk. In the late 1960s he settled in Solec Kujawski. He realized several monumental sculptures - monuments, such as: Monument toStruggle and Martyrdom in Serock, Monument to Martyrdom of Children in Oplawec, Monument to Heroes of Struggle and Victory 1939-1945 in Solec Kujawski, Monument to Victims of Fascism in Potulice, Monument to the Fallen and Murdered in Smukala, Monument to Fallen Polish Soldiers in the cemetery on Torunska Street in Bydgoszcz, or Monument to Independence in Solec Kujawski. Themost famous of his works is the "Three Graces" on boulevard on Stary Port Street in Bydgoszcz. He also created sacred sculptures such as the Sculpture of Christ in the Church of the Holy Polish Brothers Martyrs in Bydgoszcz and the sculptures in the Church of the Resurrection in Bydgoszcz. He has participated in many national and international exhibitions.
