Biography
Studied at the Faculty of Architecture of the Warsaw University of Technology. He made his debut as a painter and critic ('For and Against') in 1957. He published in 'Przeglad Artystyczny', 'Więzi', 'Współczesność' and 'Miesięcznik Literacki', among others. At the same time, he developed his own work as a painter. He considered Artur Nacht-Samborski above all to be his master. Over time, he developed his own style, not subject to fads. Both in watercolor and oil works he brought to life a mysterious world of visionary structures, imaginative landscapes or reflections of archaic vegetation. In 1993, his posthumous exhibition was held at the CCA in Warsaw.
