Biography
In 1994, she received a diploma with distinction in Prof. Ryszard Hunger's painting studio and Prof. Leszek Rózga's drawing studio at the Academy of Fine Arts in Lodz at the Faculty of Graphics and Painting. Currently, she runs the Studio of Drawing From Study to Experiment here. In 2018, she received a postdoctoral degree. Involved in teaching, she works in painting, drawing, printmaking and artistic object. She has participated in dozens of national and international exhibitions of printmaking and painting, as well as more than a dozen plein-air events and art workshops. She has been awarded numerous prizes, including the main prize of The Best Artist at the International Competition in Vinnitsa (Ukraine), an award at the 1st Biennale of Polish Painting in Warsaw (2001) and an award at the XXIX Premio Internationale di Grafica del Pomero in Milan (2001), an honorary decoration "Meritorious for Polish Culture" (2007), the KEN Medal (2016) and the Silver Medal of the President of the Republic of Poland for Many Years of Service (2016).
