ustyna Basta - student of Conservation and Restoration of Works of Art, specializing in Conservation and
Paper and Leather Restoration at the Nicolaus Copernicus University in Torun. Born in
Warsaw.
, "My artistic development has been under the guidance of different people, with different artistic techniques, in particular.
particularly since 2014. Already in childhood, my grandmother aroused in me the soul of an artist, and since then
I associate strong emotions with art. In the following years, I learned techniques from many people and tried to
to find the expression closest to me. I started with still life and architecture. I expanded further
my skills by drawing and painting figures, landscapes, flowers, based on the works of artists,
by copying them in my own style. In addition, I attended classes and courses in clay products,
where I created sculptures or ceramic vessels. I tried my hand at workshop graphics or
computer graphics. For a while I created jewelry, crocheted and embroidered. Currently
I would describe my art as realistic with elements of abstraction or fantasy. I like to delve
into other worlds and reproduce some elements in my artwork.
In addition, I am interested in Chinese philosophy, Japanese folklore. Which translates into giving
in various fantasy conferences and festivals on this subject. A total of 11 so far.
I like to stand still and I am constantly trying new things that not only give me pleasure, but
and the people around me. Taking on new challenges and learning new skills
engages me and can even be said to take over my life. That's why I love to share
art, smile and do artistic projects for others."
