Karifurava Caihua is the artistic pseudonym of Przemyslaw Wojciak, a graduate of Graphic Arts at the Academy of Fine Arts in Wroclaw. Since his youth, he has been fascinated by the culture and art of Asia. His artistic pseudonym comes from the first word he learned in Japanese and means cauliflower. Cauliflower is a symbol of health, happiness and prosperity. He is an illustrator, painter and musician. He often draws his inspiration from Japanese woodcuts. As an illustrator, he has exhibited his works many times in Poland and abroad. As an illustrator, he mainly designs covers for magazines and patterns for clothing. One of his more interesting projects was a collaboration with Boiler Room, an international music company. Information about his exhibition of paintings at Backwood Gallery in Malboure, Australia, was featured in Juxtapoze magazine. The themes of his works are usually nude women and the psychedelic world of oriental paraphernalia, set in a bright, limited color palette.
