Karolina Matyjaszkowicz - born in Łowicz, 1980, graduated from PLSP in Łódź in 2000. In 2008 she graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Lodz at the Faculty of Textile and Fashion, majoring in Design. Since graduation, the artist has actively participated in the activities of the artistic community, presenting her paintings, textiles and creates illustrations at exhibitions. She has won prizes and awards, including those from the Marshal of the Lodz Voivodeship in the competition for the best dissertations, master's theses and thesis thematically related to the Lodz Voivodeship. Matyjaszkowicz's paintings are in the collections of the Central Textile Museum in Lodz, the Regional Museum in Brzeziny, the Museum in Łowicz in the collection of young paintings of modern art of the National Museum in Gdansk and in private collections in Poland and abroad.
