Born in 1965 in Hajnówka, he spent his youth in Narewka. At the gates of the Forest his artistic sensitivity was formed. Here had the beginning of his first fascinations with landscape painting, photography and film. In 1993 he graduated from the Institute of Artistic Education of the Maria Curie-Skłodowska University in Lublin with a diploma in painting in the studio of Mieczyslaw Herman. Professionally engaged in interior design, watercolor and oil painting, photography.His hometown Narewka and Bialowieza Forest remain a constant source of inspiration for him. Since 2015, he has participated in national and international plein-air painting workshops in Narewka, Bialowieza, Czeremcha.
