Graduate of the Wladyslaw Strzeminski Academy of Fine Arts in Lodz at the Faculty of Painting and Drawing. Member of the Mazovian Association of Fine Arts Artists. She deals mainly with oil painting on canvas. The key elements of her works are minimalism, simplicity of form, the search for inner order, harmony and peace, both in composition and color.
Her paintings are full of space and horizons, behind which one doesn't quite know what is hidden, so that the viewer is entitled to his own interpretations. The line separating fantasy from reality is blurred. Her paintings are a semblance of childhood memories and dreams to which most of us are so fond of returning with our thoughts.
The landscape, characteristic of Środowska's paintings, has no superfluous elements. In her painterly explorations and analyses, the main emphasis is on feeling, purity of shapes and subdued colors.
She actively participates in group and individual exhibitions. She cooperates with many art galleries.
More important achievements: Winner of second place of the First Artistic Creativity Review "Paleta"; Finalist of the Fifth National Leon Wyczółkowski Painting Contest, organized by ZPAP Bydgoszcz District in cooperation with bwa City Gallery in Bydgoszcz.
