Graduated from the School of Visual Arts in Katowice then Jan Długosz University in Częstochowa. She defended her diploma in painting in 2000 in the studio of Professor Jolanta Winiszewska. She practiced printmaking in the studio of Professor Ryszard Osadczy. She graduated from the Chelsea College of Art and Design. She has exhibited her works in more than 90 solo and group exhibitions in Poland and abroad. One of her first exhibitions was held at the Polish Embassy in London (2001). Katarzyna Korus' paintings have been presented during exhibitions in the company of works by Igor Mitoraj, Salvador Dali, Tomasz Sętowski, Zdzisław Beksiński. She collaborates with galleries in New York, London, Berlin. Her works could be seen in Times Square in NYC. They are in many private collections at home and abroad in the UK, South Africa, France, Norway, USA, Italy. She is engaged in painting also undertakes performative activities. Her paintings are a variety of forms, techniques, color vibrancy, gilding, symbolism, the use of gemstones, proprietary glass elements, reliefs and spatial forms, new media, which she inclusively fuses. The idea of mutual participation of the arts is at the heart of her work. She describes her work as transmedia.
