Painter and educator, born in Raciborz, associated with the Silesian art community. Educated at the Graphic Arts Department of the Academy of Fine Arts in Katowice, receiving his diploma in 1978 in the studios of Tadeusz Grabowski and Andrzej Pietsch. Since 2004 he has headed the Painting Department at the Art Institute of the Silesian University in Cieszyn. He has had about 100 individual exhibitions, participated in numerous group exhibitions, and is the author of, among others, painting series with titles: "Phantomans", "Cosmogonies", "Luminophores", "Book of the Sun", "Lyricons", "Heads", "Rhythms of Memory", "Forgotten Horizon".
