Maciej MAJEWSKI, Have a nice day, painting from the Open Sky series, 2023

Born in 1963. From 1983 to 1984 he studied at the Faculty of Arts and Pedagogy at the University of Silesia in Cieszyn and then from 1984 to 1988 he studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw at the Faculty of Graphic Arts. In 1988, he received a diploma in the studio of printmaking of Professor Roman Artymowski. He received an annex to his diploma in painting in the studio of Professor Teresa Pągowska. For the best diploma in 1989, he was awarded a scholarship from the Ministry of Culture and Art. He has participated in numerous solo and group exhibitions at home and abroad. His work focuses on printmaking, painting, pastel and drawing. He has won several awards including: 2nd Prize in the first edition of Autumn Confrontations, BWA Rzeszow 2010 and Grand Prix of the "Painting, Graphics, Drawing, Sculpture of the Year 2015" competition, where he also received the audience award. Since 2008, he has served as President of the Association of Polish Painters and Graphic Artists Rzeszow Branch.
