Color, 2021.

Graduate of the Leon Wyczółkowski High School of Fine Arts in Bydgoszcz. The workshop she took from the art school helped her to broaden her perspective, familiarize herself with a wide range of techniques and study the figure study in detail. However, she began the search for her own style and favorite techniques from an early age. Today, she continues to develop her talent by focusing mainly on abstract painting and drawing. Her paintings show boldness in combining colors, textures and form. "My compositions are very distinctive through the bold use of color and textured layers of acrylic paint and other media."
Magdalena mixes abstraction with realistic details. At the same time getting an interesting effect like from Rorschach charts, where everyone can find something different. "I usually don't have a plan when I start a painting, the brush glides across the canvas as if it decides on its own. When I'm finished, I feel as if what I've created has been inside me all along. I create not to be seen, but to experience, while allowing the viewer to have an honest relationship between my work and their own emotions." The artist's work is inspired by all her surroundings - textures, colors, light and nature with its diversity. Some of Magdalena's works are inspired by her longing for her country, which the artist experienced while living in the US for 10 years. Other works reflect the emotions she experienced during her many travels.
