Biography
Studied at the Warsaw Academy of Fine Arts, received his diploma in the studio of Professor Stefan Gierowski in 1972.Also studied graphic design in the studio of Professor Halina Chrostowska.Co-founder of the group "Sympleks S 4". Modeled on his professor Stefan Gierowski, a classic of Polish geometric abstraction, his work began with "warm" abstraction, with metaphorical titles. He created in cycles - abstractions created in the 1970s he put into cycles "Man in space", "Mystery of the four-armed figure", "Romantic". He cultivated expressive painting, thematically devoted to human suffering, referring to religious experiences . He had dozens of solo and group exhibitions at home and abroad. Works in museum collections and private collections at home and in Italy, France, Finland, England, Switzerland and the USA. Since 1972, he was a teaching fellow at his alma mater - until his death in 2016, he ran a painting studio at the Warsaw Academy of Fine Arts.
