Monika Maszkowska (Kożuchowska)- painter and interior designer. She was born in 1980 in Bialystok. Graduate of Artur Grottger High School of Fine Arts in Suprasl and Bialystok University of Technology, which she graduated in 2004 at the Faculty of Interior Design. In 2021 she earned a diploma from the Warsaw Institute of Postgraduate Studies in Pedagogy and Art Pedagogy. Since 2009 she has been the owner of the interior design studio MONODECOR. In 2011 she founded the art studio ZAFARBOWANI, where she teaches painting and drawing to children, teenagers and adults. In doing so, she refers to the artistic activity of her ancestor Jan Kanty Maszkowski, who ran a painting school in Lviv, which was attended by well-known Polish artists such as: Juliusz Kossak, Artur Grottger and Henryk Rodakowski.
