Ilchuk Nikolai was born in 1957 in Ukraine. He is an architect by training (Kiev National University of Construction and Architecture). In addition to architectural design, his passion is painting, which he regularly practices. He has participated in many exhibitions both in Poland and in other parts of the world: Greece, Belgium or Cyprus. Many of his paintings are in private and institutional collections. He carries out his works in various techniques, often mixing them and creating a distinctive authorial technique. The style in art he represents he himself calls Ukrainian post-eclecticism. He temporarily lives in Warsaw although he has spent most of his life in Kiev and Kherson.
