Irena Nowakowska-Acedanska (Lvov 1909 - 1983 Gliwice), Polish graphic artist and painter, educator. Wife of the artist Zygmunt Acedansky. Associated with Lviv until the end of the war, since 1946 in Gliwice. In 1927-1932 she studied at the Department of Decorative Arts and Artistic Industry of the State Technical School in Lviv under Kazimierz Sichulski and Ludwik Tyrowicz. She primarily practiced printmaking in various graphic techniques, applied graphics, easel and wall painting, drawing and fabric, as well as stained glass designs. The years 1932-1939 were the artist's best period. The subject matter of most works is architecture. Good condition.
