Born in 1950 in Kluczbork. Artist painter, educator. Studied at the State Higher School of Visual Arts (now the E. Geppert Academy of Fine Arts) in Wroclaw. He earned a diploma in painting in 1975 in the studio of Associate Professor Alfons Mazurkiewicz and in painting in architecture and urbanism in the studio of Associate Professor Mieczyslaw Zdanowicz. He began teaching at his alma mater immediately after graduation. He is currently a full professor at the Academy of Fine Arts in Wroclaw, where he runs a graduate studio in painting. In 2000, he began working at the newly opened Institute of Landscape Architecture at the then Agricultural Academy in Wroclaw (now the University of Life Sciences). Blazejewski is one of the most important painters of Wroclaw structuralism. He is an important artist of Polish geometric abstraction. He works in cycles. While still a student, he began working on the Architecture of Color series, followed by Interferences, Reflections/je, Collections, Unlikely Geometric Figures, Signs of the Cross, Epitaphs and, most recently, Painting Objects. The artist has prepared 50 solo exhibitions and participated in about 200 group exhibitions (including about 40 abroad). He has won awards in prestigious painting competitions several times.
