Piotr Ignacy Kopczynski - was born in 1973 in Gdynia, and this is basically the only information the artist reveals about himself. He intentionally hides his identity, keeping it a secret. This is a conscious effort, as the artist believes that an image should defend itself, and that art is the opposite of marketing. The viewer should buy a work of art in full consciousness because of its artistic value and the emotions it evokes in him, not the artist or his ideas about him. In his works he tries to emphasize the universality of the message, making references to the all-human experience. This allows him to maintain the authenticity of the message and create a dialogue with the viewer. The artist's works are in many private collections at home and abroad.
