The work "Creature" was created about 10 years ago under the inspiration of epoxy resin works.
The use of epoxy resin gave the effect of a glass sheet, in which about 1 kg of Kinder Surprise toys were sunk. First, a sketch of the figure was created, then a frame was made of plasticine. In this frame were arranged toys from different series of Kinder Surprise, according to colors and shapes, then poured several layers of resin. Each of these toys is meant to symbolize adventures, memories or things related to our lives. A person is the sum of experiences, and each of these toys is meant to remind us of that. Recipients from the author's generation and earlier are sure to find toys they themselves played with. In addition, the toys used in the creation process, being difficult to obtain and due to their unique nature, fetch high purchase prices.
The creature was mounted on a soft white blanket to add to the effect of softness and coziness. The whole piece is framed in a white 3 cm wooden frame. This is a unique and original work by the artist. Only a few works of this type were created and "Creature" is a treat for the collector. The work has been exhibited at several solo exhibitions in Warsaw, Wroclaw, Walbrzych and Swidnica, among others.
