Biography
Studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Cracow from 1946 to 1950 in the studio of Zygmunt Radnicki and Zbigniew Pronaszko, and from 1950 to 1953 at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw in the studio of Jan Cybis. He was a member of the Self-education Circle founded by students of the Academy of Fine Arts in Cracow. Participated in the National Exhibition of Young Visual Arts under the slogan "Against War - Against Fascism" at the Warsaw Arsenal (1955) and in the Confrontations organized at the Crooked Circle Club (1960-1962).
