Acrylic painting on canvas, 120 x 80 cm
From the Author: "I have been observing the Hel Peninsula for more than twenty years, when I explore the subject of the Baltic Sea on painting expeditions from spring to autumn. With my paintings I document how the cultural landscape of our coast is changing. Not so long ago, the dominant element of the landscape (in addition to screens) were fishing boats and everything related to the work of fishermen. Today, the color of the Little Sea and the Big Sea is determined by water sports and water recreation. The sky over the Puck Bay is dotted with colorful Kitedurfing kites and the horizon with Windsurfers gliding across the water. The element of September-October waves is tamed by bold surfers and brave surfers. In mid-February, the film "Heaven in Hell" directed by Tomasz Mandes and starring excellent actress Magdalena Boczarska was released. The plot of the film takes place on the Peninsula, and the silent, fictional protagonist of the second plan is a yellow bus from Jastarnia, the legendary "Bulik" - a symbol of free life, freedom and love."
