Studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Cracow at the Faculty of Graphic Arts in Katowice. Obtained diploma in 1980. Painter, graphic designer, author of texts about art, prose texts. In 1993-2001 co-editor of the bimonthly cultural magazine "Options". Since 2002, lecturer at the Art Institute of the Silesian University in Cieszyn, in 2002-09 taught at the Academy of Fine Arts in Katowice. Between 1980 and 2009 he realized more than 30 solo exhibitions and participated in more than 80 group exhibitions at home and abroad.
