Between 1972 and 1977 he studied at the Warsaw Academy of Fine Arts. He received his artistic education in the painting studios of Prof. Jacek Sienicki and the textile studio of Prof. Zbigniew Gostomski. In 1977 he defended his diploma with distinction. He has received multiple scholarships from the Ministry of Culture and has participated in numerous group and individual exhibitions both in Poland and abroad (Sweden, Denmark, Great Britain). His works can be seen in public collections, including the Academy of Fine Arts, Warsaw; CBWA Zachęta, Warsaw; Lund Kommun, Lund ,Sweden; Gost Werner Museum, Simrishamn, Sweden; Deutsche Bank Polska S.A, Warsaw.
