STANISŁAW MŁODOŻENIEC
Born in 1953 in Warsaw , he graduated from the Warsaw Academy ofFine Arts , where he studied at the Faculty of Painting of the Academy of Fine Arts in 1972-78 in the studios of M. Bylina and J. Sienicki. He has beenliving in New York since 1984. He comes from a family with a multi-generational artistic tradition - grandson of a poet, son and brother of painters. In 2010 he became associated with the Abbey House S.A. Auction House.
Every few years he exhibits in Poland. He drew artistic inspiration from the works of great avant-garde artists and naive art. He paints human types, urban landscapes expressively deformed, a lot of sketches and drawings are daily record - commentary of reality. He also designs posters.
His work combines a variety of techniques and artistic forms, and is a painterly chronicle of a city in constant motion. The space of New York, its people, the energetic climate and atmosphere of the city are a great inspiration for the painter.
