In 1977 he received his diploma (with honors), in the studio of J. Tarasin, at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw. He also did an annex to the diploma in the studio of H. Chrostowska. He works in painting, printmaking and drawing. His painting work is close in mood to symbolism. He made his debut in 1981. In his works he combines the skills of an excellent draftsman and colorist. He has exhibited, among others, at the Gallery of the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw, Manor House Gallery in Morris New York, Warsaw Critics' Gallery, Ligne Roset Gallery in Vienna, Plasyka Artists' House in Warsaw.
The female nude occupies an extremely important place in Tomasz Kazikowski's art, the female body acquires a monumental, symbolic character in his works. The painter strives for maximum synthesis of form, thanks to which the body of the portrayed woman achieves puristic, harmonious shapes. This results in the timeless, classicizing character of the work in question.
