Biography
Tomasz Zawadzki studied at the Faculty of Painting, Graphics and Sculpture of the State Higher School of Fine Arts in Wroclaw. In 1981 he defended his diploma in painting under Prof. Zbigniew Karpinski and his diploma in painting in architecture in the studio of Prof. Mieczyslaw Zdanowicz. He currently works as head of the Painting Department at the Art Institute at Maria Curie-Skłodowska University in Lublin. He works in painting, drawing and photography. His works are in numerous collections and museum collections: Museum Modern Art Hunfeld (Germany), Gutenberg Museum Mainz (Germany), Museum of Art in Lodz, Museum of Contemporary Art in Radom, State Art Gallery in Lodz, Studio Art Center in Warsaw, EL Gallery in Elblag, Labyrinth Gallery in Lublin, 2b Gallery in Warsaw, Lublin Society for the Encouragement of Fine Arts, In Situ Foundation for Contemporary Art in Sokolowsk and many other art institutions.
