ValentinaSamoylik-Artiushchenkodoes not hesitate to use intense, constricting colors, often different variations on the theme of blue and red. She fills the entire picture space with them - so color is both a structural element and carries an emotional charge. Paintings featuring female figures are striking in their clarity and decisiveness. Her landscapes, on the other hand, are pensive and dreamy, and her still lifes are decidedly decorative, but without excessive splendor. Her paintings are full of warmth and lyricism, sometimes sentimental, at other times resolutely expressive. Thus, they transcend the canvas, creating a bond between the artist and the viewer, becoming a vector of emotional charge.
