Contemporary artist working in painting, sculpture and assemblage. From 1974 to 1979 he studied at the Lviv art school. Since the 1990s he has lived and worked in Düsseldorf. In his work he draws on the experience of modernist European art, as well as Russian Suprematism and Constructivism. He belonged to the Leningrad group of Surrealists. The artist has taken part in numerous group and solo exhibitions, including in Russia, Germany, Korea, Japan, Sweden, France, Luxembourg and Montenegro.
