Reference: Parchimowicz -, Chałupski -

A very nice piece with well preserved details. Background flaws. Beautiful intense luster.

An extremely rare, until recently uncatalogued hybrid, discovered and described for the first time in 2019 by Mr. Mariusz Walendzik, a specialist in the coins of the Second Republic, whose discovery was recently confirmed by the publication of the variety in the latest edition of the specialized J. Parchimowicz catalog.

The obverse stamp used for minting the "deep" banner with a characteristic doubling of the date was used to strike the offered piece (when producing the stamp, the date punch was struck twice, but not perfectly in the same place).

A recommended item for the best collections!

Denomination introduced by the reform of January 11, 1924. Coin minted to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the outbreak of the November Uprising by decree of the Treasury Minister on November 14, 1930. Remaining in circulation until November 1939.

The coin was minted in Warsaw in an edition of 1,000,000 pieces, and was the first commemorative coin introduced into circulation in the Second Republic. It is also the only circulation coin from the Second Republic that does not have the issuer's name: 'THE REPUBLIC OF POLAND'.

Obverse: the state eagle of the 1927 design, below it the inscription 5 ZŁOTYCH 5 and the year 1930;

Reverse: Banner flying in the wind on a long spar topped with a flag eagle, with an inscription in three lines HONOR / AND / DAD, below the banner a horizontal inscription in four lines: 1830 - 1930 / ON THE HUNDRED / ANNIVERSARY / OF THE STATE of Poland punctuated by a banner spar. Embellishment of dashes, at the bottom left Kościesza coat of arms - mark of the State Mint in Warsaw, on both sides of the spar initials of the designer Wojciech Jastrzębowski - W - J.

Edge: SALUS-REIPUBLICAE-SUPREMA-LEX;

Minted coin of .750 silver with a prescribed weight of 18 g and a diameter of 33 mm.
