A beautiful example of a commemorative 3-mark minted to celebrate the liberation of the Rhineland in 1930.

The coin was struck at the mint in Berlin. Delicate imperfections.

Obverse: in the pearl rim a shield on arches with an eagle, in the outer rim a legend:
DEUTSCHES REICH DREI REICHSMARK;

Reverse: in a pearl border an eagle standing on a bridge, below it on the spans the date 19-30, in the outer border the legend:
DER RHEIN DEUTSCHLANDS STROM-NICHT DEUTSCHLANDS GRENZE-;
