A very nice, slightly deficient example of a well-liked issue. Lots of preserved mint luster.
Obverse: bust of the ruler in armor, blue sash with an order cross, letter S (mark of Johann Julius Steibrück, mincmaster) on the shoulder cut-off, legend in the rim:
FRIDERICVS BORVSSORVM REX;
Reverse: a Prussian eagle in talons holding a scepter and an apple, with a small crown separating the legend, on either side of the tail the numerals 1 and 8, below the tail the letter E denoting the Königsberg mint, in the rim the legend:
