Destructs, especially of large-diameter coins, are rare. Mint coin, sheet end. Destruct created when a coin is struck on a disc cut from a sheet end. In the coin collections of the last century, minted by machine in large quantities, it is not the quantity of coins that indicates the quality of the collection, but the number of gems in it. There are no higher quality gems than low-volume SAMPLES, and even rarer to them, created by accident, interesting minting errors (offsets, reverses).
