Gold coin minted in the year of the death of the Tsar of Russia. On the obverse a bust of the Tsar and inscriptions. On the reverse, the coat of arms of the Kingdom of Poland: a shield with the Polish Eagle placed centrally on the belly of a Russian double-headed eagle. Gold coins with a high rim from 1822-1825 were minted in low mintages of tens of thousands per year, yu 84 thousand. In comparison, coins with a low rim in 1818-1819 were minted at about 3.5 million. Gold coins in mint condition even those from 1818-1819 are very rare.
